Don’t Think Like A Hotel
If people wanted to get a hotel for their vacation then they would have booked one!
The home of any bed and breakfast is an essential part of the whole puzzle and you want to give your guests a “homey” feel and not the one of a corporate hotel entity. I think most of you out there have an idea of what I mean when I use the word homey but just to reiterate, it should feel comfortable and a place your guests would love to call home. You really can’t get this authentic feel from a hotel no matter where you look.
So if you are thinking about getting into this business, it is important that you have the house to do so. The foundation of your home is extremely important and should be in tip top shape and ready to take on your guests.
Different people have different plans for what they want to do when they are visiting so make sure you plan for anything!
